Possibly the worst cymbal I have ever heard in my life.

Indeed, not the best cymbal manufactured today. They are brass, but they are very thin. These are cool for that ugly metal, thrash, noise that some people enjoy. If you are looking for a smooth jazzy, lush and clean sound. You might as well shell out the bucks for a fine cymbal. These are def for accents only and those with very tight budgets. Thanks for your input!

Thanks for confirming the old saying I always hear other drummers say.. never buy a cymbal on looks alone.. This thing sounds like a broken wuhan china, but it's supposed to be a ride??

agreed. obviously it isn't brass or it would sound even worse, but not even a good sounding imitation of a bosphorus or istanbul. too thick and they guy playing it has no light upstroke, which obviously makes it that much worse.
