The Olympics are clearly underway here in Beijing -- it's all people are talking about. I've been on a mission to meet to as many Cal Olympians as I can while I am here, and maybe even get my photo taken with a Cal Olympian's medal round my neck!
Since most of the Cal Bears are in the middle of competing, from swimming to softball, they don't have the time (yet!) to talk to me. They are on the train-eat-sleep, repeat then compete routine.

However, I had a bit of good luck, meeting two Cal Olympians, Martin Maric ('09) and Amin Nikfar ('04), outside the Olympic Village, their home in Beijing.

nikfar came to our school today and showed us shot put haha it was pretty amazing. so i decided to search up some youtube videos of him x)
