I too wore out my brandos casette, saw these guys live in 87 in oshkosh,wi. opened for the cars, so glad to be a part of that time. Their music is timeless !

My favorite 80's band. Bought this on cassette " Honor Among Thieves" In a bargain bin for 2 bucks was unknown band to me then. [1990] Might be best 2 bucks spent ever!

@Tull29 It's a good question. How come they never made it big ? I bought this debut when it arrived and next time I heard about them was over ten years ago later! Noticed they've been signed to SPV and done few albums. I rushed to buy rest of them...

Thank you for posting "Honor Among Thieves" as this song and "Gettysburg" were the two songs that I had taped from a local FM station in Ottawa ,Canada. These two songs hit it big locally for a short time and then all mention of "The Brandos" went away for good. It is nice to know that this music is still appreciated. Thanks once again for posting it!

@Tull29 The only reason I heard these songs is that the record came out my first semester in college and the only station that played it was the college station. Good times.

I had two songs from "The Brandos" on tape a very long time ago and wore it out playing it over and over again. How can a band as talented as this not hit the mainstream? Powerful and fantastic music it is. Dave Kincaids' voice is incredible.
These guys are fantastic and I am glad to listen to their music once again!

@Tull29 "Gettysburg" was the other song I really enjoyed. It was already on Youtube, which is why I didn't upload it. Dave Kincaid is excellent. It's nice to find others who spent the 90's and part of this century wondering if they'd ever get to hear the songs again. I wore this cassette out.
