there is both deflation and inflation. the reason inflation doesn't show up because banks aren't lending the easy money and are sitting on excess reserves. also faber said hyperinflation/ high inflation will come when the US try to monetize the debt.

I don't know how correct Faber is, but I think there is a higher chance of deflation than hyper inflation. I'm more in Hugh Hendry's camp here.
