actually, you've been living in a near-socialist state since the 1930s. most of the programs and state-owned property and parks fall under 'socialist' programs. no republican president in history has tried to drive elements of socialism from american life.

why do you sound so surprised to learn you've been a supporter of the tenets of socialism? unless you've opted out of social security, medicare, medicaid and other social programs.

i think many of you people are not understanding this young woman. it sounds to me like she believes now-president obama will implement policies that will cause america to prosper. she won't have to worry about paying gas and mortgage bills because she'll pay a good job that pays a living wage. hopefully, she will be right.

Scholarships are available through the Government. I'm White, and I could go to Alabama State University, for free, because I would be a Minority, there, and vise versa. My Wife did so, 16 Years ago.
