I do wear some makeup but I choose not to let the world's view of beauty interfer with true beauty. It's important to look clean and well groomed because it lets your light shine brighter from within.

Statistics come from YWCA's article "Beauty at any Cost" and from www.goodwithmoney.co.uk.

Music: "This is Why I'm Hot" instrumental (made famous by Mims)

  • too many women are beautiful with out all of that makeup! i propose a month dedicated to no makeup! make-up free march! lets run with that idea

  • Great video. Those stats are sad though. :/ People need to accept themselves.

    Thanks for this!

  • Agreed! I love this video...I'm favoriting it! Lol.

  • I see a lot of women put on make up in the car while they are driving.

  • For women's health we have a small group project that's due on Thursday. We could do a presentation on a disease or a commercial. We wanted to do a commercial. We haven't really made up our mind, but this is one that I came up with. If they like it then we'll have clips of everyone in the group doing that and more beauty facts. :)

  • I love this video. I agree..find true beauty!

  • The made-up you in this video looks funny, hmmm I actually think Maxine looks so much more natural and beautiful somehow, even as a hag. Is this part of your usual personal project or is this some school thing that you did for women's health? Well, hags rule. That's why I'm Franbruka. :)
