  • very nice video. I visited Matagalpa in Nicaragua 3 years ago and I was lucky to be able to learn a lot of Nicaraguan Sign Language while I was there. My favorite signs were for "to forget" and "to remember"

  • Oh.. darn I can't remember what these "to forget" and "to remember" signs... not sure if I even learned that one. I gotta check it out! :-D

That's awesome you got to visit Matagalpa!! Great area!!

  • So this was a volunteer type of thing, where they did not have to pay for the class? With Nicaragua being such a poor country, and deaf still being a minority, they must have had to travel a VERY long way for this class. I am majorly impressed.

  • Right, the class is free for them and I plan to explain the purpose of this course in next video. We provided transportation for students to the class at no cost as well, it was awesome for sure! :-D

  • Awesome stories about your trip to Nicaragua. I looove the folding plants, I have to go down there and see them for myself! I'm deaf but I had my music ear buds on when I was watching your video, I could hear laughter in the background when you were touching the plants, haha.

  • Ha.. darn you heard me!! He he ;-)

  • Wow, you sign Nica. different than I learned! I visited the Christian School for the Deaf in Managua a few years ago. Very cool! :-)

  • Awesome! Loved hearing about your experiences, and I look forward to hearing some more of your experiences!

  • Stop poking the grass!! haha

  • I miss that grass from Panama! Oh... and I missed YOU!!!!! I MISSED you! *big grin* Your face has indeed been missed and we thank you for sharing with all of us about your experience. I hope to see more about it, this is fascinating, what you got to do and see. After all of them, and I hope there will be more than 1 or 2, maybe do a video telling us what your favorite thing of all is, and why.
