Watch this clip detailing the launch process and technology behind the new SIRIUS FM-5 satellite, put into a geo-synchronous orbit at 96 degrees West on July 1, 2009 from Kazakhstan. • If anyone from Sirius or XM sees this, I have a question. If one of the satellites goes down, how long does it take to get the spare up and running?

  • @timsartsite Only some type of buffer would help that. The only downside would be the time delay.

  • I want Ethel, Lucy, Fred, The City, and The Torch back---that's why i got XM---for those channels and those channels only!!

I HATE Madison as a deejay!!

  • What about Ozzy's toaster?

  • Another good point

  • Good point
