Columbia teacher admits to sex with student on tape. NYSP

The NYS Education dept revoked Kolakoski's teaching license in 2007 for molesting male students his entire career (NYS Police). Here is a 9 minute video showing how it was done. This is a perfect example why NYS should have NO statute of limitations on sex crimes against children.

Kudos to Robert Reese for getting this molester away from children! It takes a lot of strength to come forward about sexual abuse at any age.

I do hope that more recent victims come forward and prosecute this pervert and put him in prison - which is exactly where he belongs!

I agree, there should be no statue of limitations when it comes to abuse, especially sexual abuse of our children!

This school needs to be investigated. How can they put the children in their care at risk? If it was only one accusation I could almost understand it, but there have been several complaints! How many other teachers are they protecting?

What really upsets me is that over a full year after the allegations, Kolakoski was put in charge of conducting counseling sessions for stressed students after the 2004 shooting. How can the administrators think that is a good idea? Even if Kolakoski was innocent (which he is not), you don't appoint a suspected child molester to counsel students after a school shooting. EGCD was a horrible school when i went there

I also agree there should not be a statue of limitations because most former sexually abused children do not even deal with their abuse memories until way up in their adulthood and by then it is too late to prosecute their perpetrators. If abuse occurs then the abuser needs to be held accountable for their actions period.

Thanks for posting these videos! We need to get the message out there in order to prevent future generations from being abused.

statute of limitations should be lifted b/c in most cases of childhood sexual abuse survivors only come forward years later usually after therapy and when they feel like they are safe from repricutions from there abuser.

In my case my family is still infected b/c my mom knows about it and is still married to the step-monster. She even talked him out of turning himself in. She's betrayed me and clearly through staying w/ him shows where her alliance lies.
