Wandering the beaches in Indiana and then Santa Barbara California I start to notice and then collect cool pieces of driftwood. I loved the natural textures that time and wave had created. Back in the studio I have wired and woven these found pieces of wood. Recently I made a heart for a client and started nailing the pieces together. Here is a heart being made. By Aaron Kramer

  • HI looks great , what are the tools you are using?

  • Great Idea, I will incorporate that into one of my mirrors and see how it goes. Would prefer my method in my "how to" guide so you don't see all the nails. azcanuck.com

  • What a wonderful use for driftwood, a wonderful way to display them together. Thanks so much! When I make one I'll mention you taught me. Thanks.
