Rotary International has numerous projects in Chinandega, Nicaragua. The newest is the Children of the Dump Beads For Hope. Ambassador Girl Scout Maureen Fenninger chose to work on the publicity for this new program after collecting the most important item for the 12-17 year old bead making students at Betania Trade School.....recycled wallpaper. Watch as the video shows the contrast between the children working in the dump and those who are learning a new skill that will change their futures.
