The McMaster Thespian Company is non-profit theatre organization which specializes in developing and performing classical plays, including but not limited to scripts from Grecian, Elizabethan and Victorian eras. The company provides opportunities for students interested in performing, technical theatre, and production. It is an inclusive forum where artists and technicians from McMaster are able to develop and showcase their skills and talents. In the process, theatrical performances are created which benefit campus life and which help McMaster reach out to the surrounding community. This is the company's fifth season.

  • This was absolutely amazing! It's going to help me so much for my performance tomorrow :D

  • I love the hand gestures used by Lady Macbeth. Bookmarking for my drama class :D

  • this has helped me so much with my performance .. cheers :D

  • Gentlewoman: That is one awkward hand-on-hip mannerism.

We are relieved we will never have to see such acting anywhere else.

  • Loved the performance and I'm really excited to do Act 5 scene 1 for my Shakespeare in Performance class at school. I'm 15 and I'm getting some ideas for this scene that I'm going to perform. Thank You for some great ides on MacBeth Act 5 Scene 1! Your fellow Actor, Sabrina Maurer

What a nice compliment :) But if I were doing this again, I would do it much differently. I look WAY too "awake". That said, I do think the best way to do the "Oh, oh, oh" line is some kind of whimper/howl of anguish.

  • Masterfull performances from all. I'm doing this scene for an audition ... and will definitely be stealing some of this Lady Macbeth's ideas!

  • Tamlyn,

Thank you so much for your compliment. To be honest I would do it much differently now and I wasn't happy with this particular performance... but I'm glad you liked it!

  • This is Brilliant.

Good job to everyone, expecially Lady Macbeth. She is a very hard character to play in this scene!
