They don't show it in this clip, but earlier in this episode, the White supremacist group planning on the cross-burning claimed that it was full of so much fuel that it could've burned for a LONG while. A normal wind would not have blown it out.
Or so Hollywood says...

I'm so sick of everyone saying 'this is racist' and 'that is racist'. I've met more people of colour who are racist than not. Look at that silly song that rapper just did for Obama. that chick at the end of the clip isn't the girl u r thinking of, that was cybil sheperd...and being a kinda succesful actress cybil would never have to resort to doing an episode of walker texas ranger...particularly an episode that is a blatent insult to neone who was ever lynched, or a victim of a h8 crime.
