Was the native cf a sprint run? Otherwise I don't understand why they discontinued it. I hope there will be a native 5 with cf.

Hi, just would like to ask, is the finish on the blade of the Sage similar to that of the Tenacious or the Delica? The blade on the Sage looks kind of rough, or maybe it's just the reflection of the light?

Great review, comparison reviews are much more informative than, the "this knife is cool!" reviews.

An ffg native, when did they have that run?

What is FERN, and G10 made of? Which is better? I noticed Carbon Fiber is too slippy. I wanted the Spyderco Stretch, decided to go with FRN handle. But I think I like my Spyderco police or even Tenacious G10 handle better.

I love my sage 1! The ergos are incredible... Makes me want to get a Cat and a Chicago, for the money they are both great value buys and are pretty much mini versions of the sage 1 in smaller sizes. Spyderco is really doing a great job and so are you my friend!

Nice video so thanks for posting your review. This is a nice looking knife. I bought a couple of Spyderco's recently and need to step up to some higher quality ones because the Persistence and Tenacious aren't really quality pieces.

Dave what do you carry in the city, what are you allowed to carry?
Great vids, more please. Thanks, Steve

@1911bladeguy
Thanks, Man!
What I carry really varies on what I'm feeling like ;) As you can imagine NYC knife laws are pretty strict. But also reasonable. Being that the blade limit is 4", that leaves a lot of options. There are other consideration of course. Rational, responsible and reasonable choices, along and a bit of common sense are prudent :)
