*Crash starts at 2:00* What started out as a nice flight did not end so well. About 4 minutes into the flight, the Drone stopped responding to the RC control and ended up crashing in the woods.

Please comment if you think you know what might have caused the Drone to stop responding. I'm thinking it was interference or battery failure (even though I was only 4 minutes into the flight).

  • Catasphically Awesome!! This IS the best CRASH I have ever seen.. Flightime was decent too (for having a heavy load like a GoPro on it!) ...Was this copter fixed, and in action again after this crash? Idea: Get together with an Airsoft Team and be their counter-intelligence recon over radio (letting them know where the enemy is!

  • hola la idea es de comprarme uno de estos ar drone 0.2....que me cuentan yo para poder manejarlo TENGO EL SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE!, desd ya muchas gracias!!!

  • i dont think motor overheated... if it did it would not have autolanded like yours clearly had stabilized autoland crash. Rather, if it did overheat... it would fall like a rock with no gyro assisted stabilised descent. must have walked behind tree or treetop block signal. must maintain clear line so rx can 'see' tx. if leaves block line you loose signal, it go into failsafe

  • on my rc helicopter. (below)

  • did you ever figure out what ever went wrong? looks like you may have lost line of site with the transmitter. 2.4ghz are known for this. i walked behind tree then my rc lost signal once, crashed. looks like it initiated autoland when it momentarily lost signal.

  • @Ardroneace I flew with the standard AR Drone battery. I had repeated flights indoors. After one flight the motors were hot to the touch. I tried to fly the craft again, but it wouldn't stay in the air. I let the motors cool down and everything was normal. It was the only time that it happened to me. Now I have heard others tell me the same thing.

  • @ALTN8NRG i have never heard of this nor expierenced it? out of either of my 2 drones, can you explain or email me i have never had an engine overheat and cause any problem and i have used the maxamp 30 min battery flew for 25 mins and no probs even with all the weight so whats the over heating issue with the motors im dying to hear this because i dont belivbe it to be true, if im wrong ill admit but i dont think its possible...

  • How much did u pay for the drone?
