Noble phrasing, purity of sound,luminous voice, Grummer was a unique artist and I doubt that any other singer can even remotely come near to this perfection.

She is MY singer, before Janowitz, Schech, Reining, Della Casa (yeah i said it)and if she had fused herself with Schwarzkopf they could have made some sort of Transformer-like SuperSoprano

She was one of the most important sopranos of the 20th century.
I couldn't have described her singing better than you did.
And, sadly, she is such an underrated artist...
