Fishing in powai lake (Mumbai) for CATLA. Cyprinus catla, Catla catla the only member of the genus Gibelion, of the carp family Cyprinidae is a fish with a large protruding lower jaw. It is commonly found in rivers and freshwater lakes in India.
In terms of brute power The Catla is an undisputed best game fish in India pound to pound.
