TF2 Medic Play Style

My first video upload- not an instructional video but rather a look at my play style. This video, warts & all, I hope can give you ( and I gain) a few tips on the role of this awesome class from TF2. Its not a frag video because, well, the Medic is a healer & shouldn't be confined to any particular class, namely the heavy for healing even though I did single him out in this match :)

It really is important to use a Mic for playing Medic even though I myself didn't use it effectively here. I'm generalizing when I say its imperative to have one.Without this the game/match will just get too frustrating for you to play. Trust me on this. You will be the number one target & if you can't call out to your team to watch your back, you're not going to have any fun when those filthy spies back stab you time & time again. Its also important to tell whomever you're Ubering to tell them so. I hate having the loopback turned on while recording so I left it off.

.....& yes, I know I should have used the taunt kill for the sniper :)

..... In that particular game their spy wasn't really that effective. Situational awareness is key to playing against a good spy. I'm constantly moving & knowing where my teammates are, hoping that they themselves would take down any spy threat, allows me to push & dodge forward without worrying too much about my back. If the spy had focused his attention on me then I'm sure you would have seen me spinning around more often. One or two times I did hear him de-cloaking & did take appropriate action (whether it be hooking more right/left or taking a wider arc around hoping that he misses my back when he stabs). Thank you Valve for the de-cloaking sound. The second I hear that thing I'm the most paranoid player on the server
