Andy is loved and missed. We're no one to judge his personal demons. It is sad that he passed away and left a beautiful wife to raise a beautiful son without his smile, love and someone to teach him to surf. God Bless Lyndie and baby Andy.

The World Surfing Champion has made his final statement with his death scene. Dropping out of competition dope sick, alone, on drugs, dying in an airport hotel room just trying to get back home. Sorry for your lost.

@corymackay6 i loved andy, but they did find methadone in his room along with zipoldem, a prescription sleep aid. the autopsy will be released in may, so we will see then

@mattandpatti222 You have no idea what demons this man struggled with. It now looks like he had alot, and they got the best of him. The man won 3 world titles; beating surfings greatest athlete of all time, but lost his battle to drugs. I am deeply saddened that he lost his life due to drugs but would never label the man a loser. I label him human.
