@egocentress Bertie especially is precious because he did not choose the life. He's loving and devoted and spoiled only through circumstance. And without realizing it, he is one of the loneliest people. Jeeves has friends and family while Bertie has people who use him and is a place thing for his aunts who stand in the place of his parents. Dahlia is the only one who has a vague affection for him but it isnt until Jeeves that Bertie actually gets a 'comrade'
