Today It Feels Good To Be An African

When I see the people of South Africa express themselves in this way, I feel closer to my country than I could ever imagine. We have a long road ahead of us, but having a spirit such as this...I forsee only good things.

I'm white, and I don't hate black people. I hate the people that destroy my country by bringing violence and ignorance to it by holding onto idea's and beliefs they claim come from their ancestors. And this goes for black and white South Africa's. Forget what people in our country did 100 years ago. Live NOW and lets REALLY make a country to be proud of.

This is a typical White South African outlook on SA. I am a white South African and I currently live in the UK. I can now say, having lived in another country, that i long for home. If only south Africans would stop believing that the country is going seize to exist and notice the new roads, the trains, the stadiums. Stop waiting for disaster and notice for a moment how well that country is doing while Dubai is bankrupt, England is practically insolvent. I am on my way home. God bless SA.

The problem with white south africans is that they compare SA to Developed countries (they're eurocentric) and how things use to be b4 Apartheid. The end of apartheid caused all the problems and 3/4 of the population which were hidden screened and closed off to rise. I totally agree with Discipal. SA has so many issues to deal with look at the positive stuff happening to improve them. no wheres perfect, everybody hates their government even here in the UK!!

within 10 years there will be no more whites in s. africa. they are bleeding whites who are fleeing the country their ancestors founded. this is as tragic as anything i've ever seen. not only is it tragic for the whites to leave their country but tragic to see the beautiful nation they've created to be totally destroyed by the black africans who have no clue how to maintain a ''made'' country....even when it's handed to them.

This is beautiful! South Africa is truly a beautiful country. I may be American, but South Africa is a country with beautiful people, a beautiful history, and beautiful lands.
