Saw him at Caroline's in Manhattan, only about 100 seats. I've seen many of the most famous stand-ups live, and they get an enthusiastic welcome when they take the stage, as did Dennis.
Except one guy at a table totally lost it within the first few seconds. People were looking over curiously, but I understood completely. Dennis's first facial twitch had reminded him of previous routines, which never failed to induce complete hysterics if you liked his shtick.
I love blue humor as much as anyone. But DW proves that it is much more difficult to work "clean" while still being hilarious. I only wish that I could have seen him live. Gone far before his time.
I am thrilled beyond belief that I finally found these. I have been looking for anything Dennis Wolfberg for years. Hilarious Still..... timeless...classic...BRILLIANT !
I finally found the genius of Dennis Wolfberg online. I have been looking for videos of this comic genius for years! I miss him very much. God bless him!
