Sorry to report that Charlie Douglas passed away on Thanksgiving. Got to know him well, during my time as a trucker radio host, and while working at WSM.

It's a planting bugle. It's got a flared end and sort of a funnel at one end.

Used to wake up in the night listening to 700 WLW in Cincinnati and hear Dale Sommers ("The Truckin' Bozo") play these classics. Thanks for putting these up for everyone to hear some classic materials.

Glad you enjoyed it. It was from the LP, I found it at a Goodwill store back in August. The day before I found the album I bought one of those Ion USB turntables that you can convert vinyl to audio files so decided to buy the record and put some of the tracks on YouTube.
