New Study Finds Black Women Are Doing Just Fine Contrary To Popular Belief

March is Women's History Month, a time to look at the many contributions women have made throughout history. But lately, there have been a number of studies examining the lives of Black women, from their body sizes in comparison to White women to assessing that they're more likely to get swept up in a tsunami than to get married. The latest survey comes from "The Washington Post" and the Kaiser Family Foundation and, surprisingly, they found that, contrary to popular belief, Black women are doing just fine.

Black women are doing what it takes for themselves and their children and they want a man, a man in the home but in reality a man may not want to be there so a woman gotta do what she has to do; survive That's working, going to school, having a great support system with her family members etc..

Real Talk: This interview was weak @ best & the vid's title misleading. Blk women doing just fine... how so? A few stats from a survey reveals next 2 nothing. U start with a comment on stress levels 2 a theological assessment re: marriage 2 single parenting 2 reality TV/Blk female stereotyping. U have a 7 min clip that hasnt spoken once 2 its title. Why reference the survey @ all? If I were looking 2 gain insight on our sister's experiences this clip fell way short. Seriously... U can do better.
