This is a heart made with the single crochet and quadruple crochet stitch. The quadruple crochet is worked wrapping the yarn around your hook 3 times, yarn over, pull through 4 times. It is an extra long stitch. The square is made of single crochet.

The heart can be used as an embellishment for a hat, a baby blanket and on a granny square.
