Circa 1991-1994, this video features the then new Harrier II variant, the GR7.
Since this video was recorded, the GR7 has been further upgraded to the GR9 standard.

  • @gusyboyy You probably should listen to him, because everything he said was decent common sense for any pre-flight walk around inspection, regarding the landing gear.

Put it this way, the guy in the video is an RAF Harrier pilot and he didn't kick the tyres.

  • @hellblazer1803 yh surrreee.... because your a RAF harrier pilot so we should all listen to you...righttt..(sarcasm)

  • there is no reason to kick the wheels, In a preflight check you have to look at the wheels and see if there is any damage from FOD or if there is sufficiant profile. U also need to check for hydraulic oil on the wheels, and last and not least you need to check the brakes if there are still good. ;) take it from me, kicking a wheel or tire will not help, not even from a car ;)

  • He forgot to give the wheels a kick. I do it with cars its very scientific.
