Circa 1991-1994, this video features the then new Harrier II variant, the GR7.
Since this video was recorded, the GR7 has been further upgraded to the GR9 standard.

@gusyboyy You probably should listen to him, because everything he said was decent common sense for any pre-flight walk around inspection, regarding the landing gear.
Put it this way, the guy in the video is an RAF Harrier pilot and he didn't kick the tyres.

there is no reason to kick the wheels, In a preflight check you have to look at the wheels and see if there is any damage from FOD or if there is sufficiant profile. U also need to check for hydraulic oil on the wheels, and last and not least you need to check the brakes if there are still good. ;) take it from me, kicking a wheel or tire will not help, not even from a car ;)

He forgot to give the wheels a kick. I do it with cars its very scientific.
