Thanks for the mention Matt. I pulled a few of the silent shorts because I updated those ones with more footage, but never got around to posting them yet. I need to get on the ball and post some more soon. As far as Laughsmith is concerned, I found an update from June 2009 from the guy that runs it, saying that they're still in legal litigation and can't comment on when the dvds will be released. Not good.

that was relly awsome, i love watching silent and black and white films more than normal films at times, its just really cool and enjoyable, (plus the classics rock) and i watched the whole thing haha, i didnt even notice it ws 20 x minutes long until it was over XD

oh my god I'm going to get my dvd set tomrrow at my job site. I order the wb our gang set and also the little rascals remasterd version. But I wish I got all 221 episode instead but I will stick on what I got. Great vblog 5 stars.

Oh, and one thing I forgot to mention: When I was getting ready to buy the derby, I had to figure out my hat size. I found out I have a big head! LOL!

It's real. I got it from a hat shop through eBay. I had wanted one for some time, just as a keepsake, but then I created a character for "The Happy Show" named Doofy Dan. Doofy Dan is an old-style silent film comedian character, and the first video I made with him I used a cheap plastic hat, but I really wanted a real derby. So, I got one, and I use it to host the show, too, in addition to wearing it for my vlogs.

The derby is a tell tale sign of all that. It represents so much. Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy, and Abbott and Costello just to name a few. I love derby's. I wanted one when I was a kid and my parents would just laugh at me. A trend that seemed to continue. : )

Is that a real one or a Halloween derby and if it's real, where did you get it?
