The iOrb is a simple user interface device for single handed operation. It uses an inertial sensor to estimate rotation and a pressure operated switch to select items. It can be used for command input, such as selecting and pressing a button in a list of options, or choosing an item in a list. Or it can be used for 2D orientation input to rotate an object, move a slider or similar. (2005)
