the niger got his chance due to increasing numbers of african negro's registered to vote, this conglomerant of severely retarded negro;s will vote anybody into ofice that offers blacks even more in welfair with less in prison !
Afghanistan is an unwinnable war...if it is a war. Just like Iraq. The people are tribal in nature and will be at each others throats until the end of time. I listen to NPR every day an at the end of the McNeil Newshour, they pay tribute a daily update of deceased soldiers. Nine years and counting. It's all about the gas and oil. BP, Exxon,Mobil is who Americans are dying for. And now, Obama won't allow the media within 65 feet of the BP/Gulf casultys. Shame~ All for big oil.
@tishhead I agree fully. Obama has to rely on his top soldiers for guidance. Obama never served in the military. He added more soldiers as requested. The first thing you learn in bootcamp is that the President IS the Commander in Chief. For a General to talk like that in the presence of a Rolling Stone reporter shows a sever mental lapse. Retire his wrinkly old ass. O has a real General in charge now.
@stme2008 OHHH THE IRONY - Now we have Petraeus to bail out Obama in Afghanistan. The same man that Weasily Liberals were calling " General Betray-Us " Fuck Obama and his liberal sheep.
@guionlawes he didn't replace him becaue he disagreed. in fact, obama has mostly followed mcchrystal's plan. he replaced him because he undermined the chain of command, and not for the first time. and yes, any of those soldiers who spoke publicly against obama, or mcchrystal for that matter, would be at risk of being discharged or court-martialed. mcchrystal should have been fired at least twice before.
@guionlawes first, if you're president, you don't get to spend all your time on the most important thing, even if more than 3 people could agree what that was. there has been threat of war in those areas for decades and we can't stop the world while those issues are solved. as for oil disaster, time spent does not equal solution. and i do think health care reform is hugely important, affecting the entire economy.
@tishhead Don't get me wrong. I don't dislike Obama. I had just as many high hopes as the rest of us did and i realize he stepped into a huge mess left behind by Bush....but i feel that while we have people dying on the Gulf Coast and the threat of all out war on the Korean Peninsula and the Middle East, he doesn't need to be sitting in yet another town hall talking to 94 year old people about their health care. Although that's important, it's not the MOST important right now!
@ReconB329 we have civilian leadership of the military. if mcchrystal has an opinion, it's his job to express it privately. he should have been fired twice before -- for his role in the pat tillman coverup and for undermining obama by going public with his opinions on strategy before the decision was made. what would mcchrystal have done to a subordinate who publicly undermined him?
