LOUIS Producer Ruth Ezell listens in as students Jennifer Mays third grade class from Ellis Elementary School in Belleville, Illinois, had a chance to have a question and answer session with Astronaut Sandra Magnus, a native of Belleville who is current living on the International Space Station. With the technical support of members from local amateur radio clubs, the session allowed the students to see how math and science have real-world applications.
cool I live near where they did this and am in high school and also a ham so got my class together we went outside in listen to the iss contact from a ht with a rubber duck antenna I hope to get my local high school to have atleast a club where we talk about stuff like this 73's
