  • I wanted the Demon's Crest intro to be his theme.

  • @Antikukafe

    A few things:

    1. Some people may not want all the DLC Characters, so buying it individually will save them money.

    2. Spectator mode was originally supposed to be free DLC; And since when has does it cost money to download a rebalancing patch?

Basically, some people will get their money's worth if they like ALL the new characters, and others wont.

  • @KHBAM Nice points there, but take account that in Gargoyle's Quest he serves King Darkoan, in Gargoyle's quest II is King Morock and in Demon's Crest he is not a hero nor villain, just a freelancer picking up fights. Based on this, he is just his own boss nowadays.

  • Firebrand, my least hyped fighter.

turned out to be my new main.

when it comes to fighting games i am never doubting capcom again!

  • @CBELTRA4 have you ever even played gargoyles quest? or demons crest? if so your missing out...

  • Looks like 149 people hates Demon's Crest.

  • @sonic06isawesome to even that out though 1.for tournaments it's a lot easier if all the characters are on disc and

    2. Japan is not really in the dlc market capcom just wants to make them happy since there one of the biggest consumers of capcom games

  • I didn't imagine Firebrand's "voice" like that. I had a more badass aspect of him in my mind from Demon's CrestT_T

  • @tacoman422 That would be an interesting idea if it turns out Astaroth (for some reason) allied himself with Wesker, Vergil, and Akuma, and that Firebrand was acting as a representative of sorts.

  • @KHBAM I'm aware of that. My point was that since he always works for Astaroth, it would seem unlikely for him to work for any other villain, unless he were doing so at Astaroth's behest.

  • @tacoman422 I think the reason people question whether Firebrand counts as a villain or not is because not only was he the hero in his own spin-off series, but he is seen as a hero in the eyes of his people, the Red Arremers. But keep in mind, Super-Skrull is also viewed as a hero in the eyes of his people, and yet he is clearly a villain to Earth. It may be a matter of perception, but considering Firebrand is likely still working for Astaroth, I think It'd be safe to call him a villain.

  • @KHBAM I dunno, not sure if they're counting him on the villain's team or not. Bear in mind that Firebrand is always aligned with Astaroth and the demon world, so unless he is also assumed to be working with the other villains, he'd probably be more likely to fight against Galactus so that his dimension isn't destroyed along with rest of the Capcom universe. Then again, maybe I'm trying to apply too much logic to the game's excuse plot.
