Philadelphia Trolley Celebration of 1993 - focusing on the restoration of PTC 8534. Lots of PCC cars are seen as well, both in action and at the Germantown Depot.

  • Sorry but are all the white PCCs at this depot demolished? I dream to see them in Rome my city. I still havent' understood how many cars they built in all USA and Canada, everytime ther's always an american city which had them

  • @tramvinicyus2 Thank you for watching my video! Some of those PCC cars are most likely scrapped, but some have been saved, most notably by San Francisco which bought a number of SEPTA's PCCs, and repainted each one for a different American city that operated the PCCs. About 5000 PCCs were built, about 80% of them by the St. Louis Car Company. The rest were mainly by Pullman Standard, and one was manufactured by the Clark Equipment Co (who built most of the PCC trucks).
