Plot: The british artist Richard Hamilton, Painter and Designer, born 1922 in London, passed away yesterday September 13, 2011 in London. Hamilton gave patterns an examples for the „Pop Art" and was welknown and successfull at the western market of fine arts. His Paintings and assemblages are collected and exhibited in Art Museums and Hamilton got important international prices., so as in the Tate Gallerie London with the „Interieur" or his most known artwork the collage „Just What Is It That Makes Today's Home So Different, So Appealing?", which he pasted and cutted and drawed for the exhibition „Independent Group" in the Whitechapel Gallery 1956 „This is Tomorrow".
Richard Hamilton made the poster of the Beatles White Album and brought series of graphics suite of illustrations with James Joyce Ulysses.
Dietmar Moews opinion: Richard Hamilton was a great pattern and model in the devellopment of Pop art and figurative hard edge as well as an example of collaborating with different other artists of his time.
