This is the second installment from Biloxi, Mississippi. The video starts going through town heading to the waterfront. The second is the waterfront, minus the Casino Barges that appear on Part 1. Note the piles of debris were more than 20 feet tall. These shots were taken 3 or 4 weeks post storm and some clean-up has begun. Was in Biloxi in July 2009. Things are much better. Some of the historic houses are gone, but new building are going up. It amazes me that the oaks survived.
We came down ther in December 2007/2008 and help rebuild for a week. It was so sad that two years later it was still in bad shape. Im sorry for all of you from Biloxi or anywhere else hit by ANY hurricane, its so sad.
Once again, great video footage. It is devestating to see this happen to my hometown. I wish that people would be willing to help Biloxi rebuild! Let alone actually see what happened in Biloxi compared to other places.
I actually had the chance to go to Biloxi last year for a week on a mission trip..it was about a year and a half after the storm and it was still devastating..it was the most unbelievable thing i have ever seen
