This is the second installment from Biloxi, Mississippi. The video starts going through town heading to the waterfront. The second is the waterfront, minus the Casino Barges that appear on Part 1. Note the piles of debris were more than 20 feet tall. These shots were taken 3 or 4 weeks post storm and some clean-up has begun. • I lived through this. I chose to stay when Katrina was coming. One year later I moved to Hamilton, AL. Just 15 min. away in Hackleburg the tornadoes took a whole town. We had some touch downs here. Thank the lord above none hit my house. I just want to say that any one can and will be stronger no matter what is put before you!!

  • i was born in biloxi in '88, been living inbetween there and upstate ny off and on my whole life.i was going to college in ny when this hit. the calls i recieved from family the night before it hit give me goosebumps. after that, i didnt hear from any of my mothers side of the family for almost 4 months. i thought my mother, sisters, uncles, cousins, everyone just gone. but there was something watchin over them, not a soul lost. be thankful for what you got, this time on earth is only temporary.

  • i miss treasure bay... the way it was

  • The workers at Bea Rivage are icy. They're not friendly like before Katrina.

  • I wish the arcades and stuff were still on the beach. after over three years it's still pretty boring. :'(

  • Was in Biloxi in July 2009. Things are much better. Some of the historic houses are gone, but new building are going up. It amazes me that the oaks survived.

  • its still unnerving everytime i see the footage...i remember being in a lot of these places on vacation when i was young....so surreal

  • missing biloxi

  • We came down ther in December 2007/2008 and help rebuild for a week. It was so sad that two years later it was still in bad shape. Im sorry for all of you from Biloxi or anywhere else hit by ANY hurricane, its so sad.

  • I actually had the chance to go to Biloxi last year for a week on a mission trip..it was about a year and a half after the storm and it was still devastating..it was the most unbelievable thing i have ever seen
