@tammehgrace believe it or not, i had enail contact to them, and they said they cannot remember that they have sung it in the way i described it to them. i will try to upload the short clip, maybe you can recognize who it was?
as soon as i have done that you weill know what i mean.
(i´m trying to get songs again that i had, long long time ago and which have been lost on the way through life :-)

hi i am searching for a version from the 60s or 70s, sung by a group of 2 or 3 female voices, very similar in intonation. who can help me? please contact me if you can help, i have been searching for this song for more than 10 years. i have a short distorted copy from a radio transmission which i could provide to show what i am searching. as far as i found it it was eventually a group named sadler (saddler-) sisters or "the short sisters" i couldn´t find any of them.
