Roald Bradstock competes in his first competition in 2009 - his 37th competitive season - with a world leading throw of 67.02m. He competes weighing 192lbs - 42lbs lighter then he weighed in his last competition 6 months ago at the 2008 Olympic Trials when he weighed in at 234lbs!

  • Roald, in the early 80s, maybe 82 or so , Larry Heidebrect set up a meet in Missoula Montana @ the U of Montana, SMU was there, did you throw in that meet? probably hard to remember that far back. Carter was there, didnt throw though, Weir and Olson threw. Dont know who threw the javelin.

    yes I was there - in fact I think that might have been my very first meet in the US

    hand comes so low

    speed do not accelerate to the end

    and he do not even throw 70 meters

  • @Roald62 I'm the same way, agree when called out. It's all good though, just be weary of how others view this common quality... Not that you should give many shits at this point in your life.
