Guns N' Roses perform "Civil War" at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 8, 2011.

If you're wondering why the later videos in my set are shot from further back in General Admission, I can explain. About 5 songs into the set, venue security at Conseco Fieldhouse (biggest bunch of pricks working security I've EVER encountered at a rock show, by the way, and that's saying something) threatened to forcibly take away any cameras that were filming in the front row where I was standing initially.

I had made a few phone calls to the venue's security line the day before to verify that it would be OK to film with it. They said it would not be a problem, but changed their tune on the day of the show stating "No filming of any kind at Conseco Fieldhouse is ever allowed." Interesting. Keep in mind that I was doing nothing different than the dozens of others holding their cell phones in the air to film that night. Those were OK. Talk about an all-American double standard...

I traveled all the way from Tampa, Florida to catch this show and had a flight back mere hours after the show ended. I couldn't risk getting my cam taken by one of those asshats as there was no way of getting it back in time. I sacrificed my spot at front & center in order to film some more of the set from further back. In a sense, it was a sacrifice, but totally worth it. Hope that explains the situation as I would NEVER give up the spot I had waited in line for since 4pm that day. Security forced the issue.

  • American crowds are fucking pathetic.

  • @Kozzy06 Maybe the folks in Indiana preferred to watch rather than get rowdy at the first GN'R show here in almost 20 fuckin' years. Lay off, douchebag.

  • WHAT FUCKIN CRAZYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Kozzy06 Speak for your prick! We like to listen to the Indiana native in his home state. Think Axl has no problem with the crowd. Considering he stood us up for a long time. Nice to see Axl grow up!

  • @joshski85 and you think that the lack of publicity about the new album is Axl wines? Against Axl and Guns for years kept an uncompromising war on the basis of which is Slash and his producers! Or you think all the abominable attacks against him by some so-called musicians are random? Or persistent neglect of his music from major music and media giants is also coincidence? You r totally wrong

  • @leopardy211 I think you're exaggerting my point, my point is bands do not tour on 10 year album cycles they tour at worse 3-5 album cycles!. You make a record you promote it your tour it, you take time off, this is how a functional BAND works. And if you think Chinese Dem is a classic that's cool man music is subjective I can't tell you what to like and not what to like. I think Axl is the greatest Rock n Roll singer of all time, but this isn't GNR it's the Axel Rose band he should call it that

  • @gunnersorginal2010 Ok cool 100 shows in 2 years, But Chinese Democracy was released on November 22, 2008 in Europe and Australia, the 23rd in the rest of the World, No touring was done to promote the album, Little no Publicity was done now you compare that with any other band you think that's normal? NO. So you're basicly saying in Total since "CD" was released in 4 years they have done at best 200 shows to promote an album that has taken 10+ years to release, yup that's functional

  • @Estranged68 Whiskey bitch? 1. That doesn't even make sense and 2. Did abuse you personally? no I don't believe I did, hell I didn't even abuse Guns and Roses more just stated facts and if you can't handle living in a world were other people might not agree with your opinion then perhaps you're the "bitch"

  • @joshski85 Lol they've done about 100 shows in 2 year with this group, so whilst not prolific, they have done a fair amount of shows together...and infact if you take DJ Ashba out of the picture, then you can increase the number of gigs to something fairly close to 200.

  • Myles Kennedy sings this WAY better

  • @igorsr12345 Por fin alguien que dice algo coherente ! Estoy con vos totalmente, ahora sí ! Espero ansioso un album con DJ Ashba y Axl !!!

  • @Estranged68 THAT RIFF IS BEAST
