  • Xtraeme, We are not claiming that similarities prove past-life connections, but when we have several different kinds of data in strong cases, we also find similarities.

Tubeofpassion, We see bits of what we think are our previous lives through dreams, regressions, and meditation, but we can't prove whether they are real or not. The Reincarnation Experiment (look it up on the Internet) looks at physical, mental, personality, habits, knowledge as well as alleged past0life memories.

  • But what was his soul doing between the death of Gauguin and his own birth - much, much later?

  • @nicksum29 There are many beliefs about what happens during the period between incarnations. Unfortunately, we have no way of validating the reports. They are based on subjective material from hypnotic sessions, channeled nonhuman voices, dreams, and speculation which cannot be verified. However, some common themes are (1) conscious review of past experiences, (2) discussion of goals for further soul development, and (3) search for a new life family and circumstances suitable for such learning.

  • Version with spanish, italian or french subtitles, please!!!

  • @Lirobel We would welcome anyone who can provide us the necessary translation for subtitles. We can have them added to the film. Thank you for your interest.

  • SCIENTIFIC REINCARNATION RESEARCH: In our approach to examining the evidence requires an open mind. A viewer authoritatively posted incorrect information about the Gauguin and Teekamp public record. (Experts had noticed Gauguin's substitution of his own face for the subject's in some paintings — as the Yellow Christ one, but had not noted the hidden faces discovered by Teekamp.) When challenged, he resorted to sarcasm, admitting that his views were just his beliefs. Please consider the evidence.

  • To think this Teekamp is incarnation of Gauguin is pure stupidity...and seeing beyond the obvious...Gauguin was great amazing world art..Teekamp is a simple dreamy newage painter..For Gauguin to evolve into Teekamp is like an elefant becoming an ant...as an artist !As a human Teekamp might be very nice, but a a sad soul clinging to his illusions of greatness !

  • this looks like an attempt of unknown artist to become more famous

  • The best way to prove reincarnation would be to develop the minds to see our own past lives. Similarly, if somebody wants to see gods, hell, devlis (and etc.) the best way to prove themselvs would be to develop the consciousness to see the creatures of other dimentions.

Buddhissm has a very precise teachings on how to develop ones mind to see for oneself.

The World is a perception of thoughts. When there is no thoughts there is no World.

  • @Xtraeme There already are hundreds of cases of people recounting memories of past lives that have been verified (plenty of videos on youtube for that stuff). Lots of young children have recounted specific details. With adults, usually hypnotic past life regression is needed to recover memories. That's something the two people in this video should go through.

  • What about living individuals who have similar personalities and appearances, that share no genetic or social connection? In a way it almost sounds like the research is trying to prove similarity somehow equates to equality. Yet we all know Elvis lookalikes aren't actually Elvis. A better criteria to measure this sort of thing would be to investigate those who claim to remember a past life. If the person can recount details they couldn't have known. That's a much more compelling argument.

  • @Mahler4EVA Maybe what you find humorous is precisely what you need to study further. Your facial structure can change in one lifetime more than once naturally simply through aging. It can also change by condition such as an ailment. So with that being said if your features can change drastically in one lifetime, why can't they change minimally throughout a few lifetimes? Not saying that there is some type of big theme behind reincarnation but I'm also not saying that there isn't.

  • @ItsJustUsEnt I've never said anything of a disbelief in reincarnation and so there's no worth in much of your questions/criticisms there. My issue here is not with reincarnation itself but with the clutching at straws and downright laughable examples we've been shown in this video.

We're just going around in circles now. I'll say nothing more unless you come up with at least a halfway decent point. I'd say a reasonable counter-argument could be made but apparently not by you...

  • @ItsJustUsEnt We could dissect every aspect of his face to destroy your claim but let's just look at one point and keep it simple - Gauguin has heavy Proust-like eyelids, they stand out in every photo... Now try to find the same eyelids on Teekamp. Unfortunately for him, while he can fashion his beard and hair a certain way to mimic portraits of Gauguin there's little he can do about his actual features.

  • @ItsJustUsEnt My point is that there are people alive today who look much more like Tom Cruise than Teekamp does Gauguin and so obviously physical comparisons cannot be said to mean anything other than sharing similar facial features. Beyond that, I find it insanely ridiculous that anyone is trying to say Teekamp looks exactly like Gauguin, more so than any twin on Earth, as you seem to be saying. You've got photos of the two, just forget the claims of this Teekamp himself and honestly look.
