That is a striped Hyena, My brother in law saw one while he was in Iraq too! Very neat!

PS. The Vector Team would capture wild life in cages and relocate them away from the living/working areas outside the perimeter.

Yeap, they were all over the base. Some would even come close so you could feed them. A lot of wild cats and dogs were also on base and outside the wire. You can hear the packs crying at night... priceless and something I am glad I experienced and will never forget.

@mahbool82 Here in ISRAEL there are no fucking hyenes, not that i hate these animals, but its like saying there are penguins in fucking iraq ,or damn polar bears

its not a dog its a rare spices of hyena that once was plentiful through out arab countries do to hunting there are very few places where they can be found places for example iraq,yemen,palestine, israel etc. but their numbers are still declining at a high rate because people continue to kill for know obvious reason
