I'm using one of those in my car (citroen c4) and even with the HU turned of, when i acelerate the car i can hear a bbiiiiiiiiiiii (high frequency sound) could it be the "ground loop noise" that you talking about? (sorry for my bad english, i'm from brazil)

@gueides Sounds like ground noise or alternator noise to me. You could always use an ground loop isolator like the Axxess AGL610. This will isolate the ground loop and filter out noise. Hope this helps!
