@PirateLifestyleTV its windy where ill put the turbines so i think they will be putting out atleased 3/4 of max output constantly and i was thinking instead of buying charge controller to limit the potential current to batteries just have more batteries so its harder to fill up and check current and voltage with multimeter every few hours and then just unplug turbine the batteries for £70 each ive got turbines,inverter i willcut up car jump leads to connect batteries want amp capacity is needed?

@MrMagicseeds No way to know for sure. That isn't much demand, TV, 4 lights, and a laptop. I don't know how much wind you have, remember, 400w turbines means at full speed. 6 batteries sound like plenty (we have 3), but it depends on their size.

@PirateLifestyleTV all ill be using is 200w tv 3 hours a day 4 energy saver lights 10w each and charging laptop i did a eletrical course so know how to wire up but not to good at the maths side do you think the 2 400w turbines eill do job with 6 batteries

@MrMagicseeds You need to add up (estimate) your daily needs. For example: Lights, computer, all things electric. Then you need to have the ability to produce this amount, and having a battery bank that will cover the peaks and off times.

@PirateLifestyleTV Thanks for the prompt and clear reply.

@MrMagicseeds No, this video was made for anyone interested in alternative energy.

was this made for people that are a bit slow gave me a headache
Interesting. The houses on my side of the street get the sunlight, relevant because a neighbour of mine uses solar energy. The set up is solar panels mounted on racks outside, and a bunch of panels mounted inside, taking light through the windows. I counted atleast 24 panels approx 8x8 in size.
My question...is that a feasible setup? I mean, the extra hardware needed plus the panels..will the savings "pay-off?"
Good video.

@upallhours9 Maybe... ;-)
It depends on attacking the problem from both directions, production of energy and consumption of energy. And keeping costs in check.
