  • Translating Atman as "spirit soul" meaning 'individual spark' or 'Jiva' is common among 'Hare Krishna's Sects' but not likely the original historical meaning of the term in the original Upanishads. Regardless of which Vedic Siddhanta one accepts, my point was that the Atman is always already pure and free. the Idea that some "Atma's" are evolving is Illusion. you as 'Atman' are always and permanently pure and complete or "fully evolved."

  • Atma means spirit/soul.

No where in my spiritual studies, I have read one is inferior than other. I practice to find love in my heart, even for those I absolutely disagree with.

    Take your own advice dear!

  • @guploo some of the jews and white folks are convinced they are superrior than other races. Arabs bear the same attitude.

  • Realised souls have the genuine sentiment they are less than anybody. It is the most important feature of such a great soul. But in another hand, compassion for other living beings is essential particularly when he sees presently other souls been cheated by bogus teachings. This is the AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja 'mission nor any of other's.

  • All your wordly references have no use for understanding atma tattva. First of all you should understand what means :aham brahmasmi. to have clear understanding you need to have it revealed by a realised soul following an authentic guru parampara cause even by reading tons of shastra , your covered consciousness may lead you to think your are equal to God.

  • @millwatts ...you can always spot the Bhaktivedanta Swamist's buy there tone.

sort of reminds me of holy roller baptists.

  • @guploo Thats a nice quote although just for a little FYI, 'Babaji you know who' never actually said that, its a quote from Oscar Wilde that was attributed to him by some over zealous western devotees.

  • @joseph60611

Unfortunately , Mister Krishna das has nothing to do not even remotely with the wisdom of the Hare Krsna "sect" and its founder acarya Ac Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

What he is giving to the innocent sentimentalist masses, is a hodge podge of so called hinduism for the sake of some kind of pratishta, and maybe two or three other materialistic advantages.

He may be better be called Kali Cela das.

  • Hey to all, firstly I want to apologize about the language and content of my angry rant about kd. We actually hooked back up again. We both realized we weren't perfect in any way. I spend alot more time with him now. I am just going through my karmic cycle and thats the truth. Well I am grateful to have a friend as KD. I realize what a great person he really is. Please ignore earlier comments about him. Well I wish you all the best. Om Shanti

  • Florence likes him. She bought a ticket for February. And Florence is no fool.
