If it's a freezing cold morning, i usually kick mine over around five times with the choke shut, then twice with it open.
Then i kick the bike into life and adjust the idle screw to stop the thing from stalling.
I love my enfield, it always starts first kick and i only have to fill the petrol tank twice a month to take me to a from work.

Yeah, u'r right. It must be a problem with the camera because, despite how it sounds on the vid, I checked them and they were right.

No... This buttons are quite similar as Suzuki's and Yamaha's low-level carburated bikes; the starter switch is used as the decompressor actuator ad the red button is the on/off one: it feeds/unfeeds the whole electrical system of the engine: ignition and electric starter. It is there for security reasons: that way you are able to stop the engine with both hands on the handlebar.

Well I guess he must hold it and give it a little bit of aceleration, just a bit , not much, coz it goes off...

When the engine is warm enough, it is not necessary to hold the throttle (well, having the idle a bit rev up for city use also helps). Try to start it after a ride and you'll see that it will start easily without touching the throttle.
