SORRY ABOUT THE SOUND AND PICTURE QUALITY! I lost the original tape of this years ago but recently found a crappy old realplayer file on an old disc. I hope it brings back good memories for Ramones fans. This is the late Dee Dee Ramone, co-creator (with Joey, Tommy and Johnny Ramone) of the punk rock music genre, playing with his wife Barbara Ramone on bass and Marky Ramone on drums at the Continental in NYC, which now no longer has bands play at it, sadly. If I find a better copy at any point, I'll upload it, but till then this is the best I've got.

  • You have the full show?

  • ty for uploading!! Gabba 2x hey!!!

  • I dunno, the continental had alot of important acts if you looked at their wall of fame, the Cramps, Iggy, Debbie Harry... I seen the Dwarves and lunachicks there among many others (not that they rival Dee Dee in importance...) and had opportunity to check out the pics.

  • Its funny, but Barbara's backup ("he don't care!") sounds more like Dee Dee's backup work on the Rocket to Russia recording of the song than Dee Dee does here... but he sounds very good on the lead vocal.

  • woohoo the only video of The Ramainz on youtube. Thanks for posting. Yeah, playing The Continental was a crazy gig. When I played there the basement bathrooms had 5 inches of water and live electric wires hangin around everywhere. Charming..... Almost as good as CBGBs bathroom with no toilet, no door, and 1/2 of a urinal that didn't work.

  • great stuff here ,thanks

  • Cookin' at the Continental, don't you know!

  • thanks for sharing

  • Please do not worry about the quality. This is a priceless treasure!

Thank you so much for making the effort to post it!

  • it's so crazy that someone as important as Dee Dee was playing at the Continental.
