you dont want to get water all over the box but usually above the big toe joint to make rolling through demi much more fluid ... it doesnt affect the total box strength, it just makes the transition from the hard glue box to the supple satin less extreme ... i would recommend this after youve been on pointe for at least 2 years and find you need your shoe more flexible rolling through demi,

Such grace and poise!

Jessica wears hard Bloch customs, Natasha wears freed classics, and amber wears bloch aspiration! Hope this helps.

Is she throwing water on her pointe shoes?! At The shop where i bought my pointe shoes they said you should NEVER do That! And it ruins The shoe.

I'm not a ballerina, I'm a runner, but my feet look like that and seeing such beautiful women with feet that also look messed up makes me feel more confident and less like a freak :-)
This was really interesting. Preparing one's pointes is so personal and differs so much from person to person. This video is like the ballet worlds version of the 'whats in my bag' tag!
