Highly trained dogs as well as sophisticated forensics labs have allowed investigators to pinpoint the cause of fires much more accurately in the past. Arson investigator, Sgt. Wayne Shaw says his dog can tell us if there is a liquid accelerant in the fire, which is an indication that the fire was deliberately set. Almost half of all arson fires are started by young people under the age of 18 and almost 7 percent of them are set by children under the age of ten. Psychologist Jude Setian-Marston says children set fires either because of curiosity or experimentation, or as a cry for help. The Insurance Information Institute says there are steps that you can take to decrease the likelihood that vandals will start a fire near your house. Keep firewood and other flammable items out of sight and away from the house, and support neighborhood watch groups because they prevent all types of crime including arson.

This video really would be lacking in teaching someone how to beat the investigator. Everyone thinks they are cleaver, but there are so many ways you can slip up and get caught.

videos like this will help children. I saw people put fire damage on youtube and that helps child firebugs as well.

My mother thought I was going to be an arsonist because I was so titilated by fire but it was the spectacle i was more attracted to.
