Papa Was A Beatle Chapter 61~Rumors

"And the captain is........", my coach stood in front of the whole squad. "Jane Marie!"
Knew it.
"Yay!", I hugged Kristine.
Everybody clapped as I smiled at them.
"Ok girls, that's it for today. Go get changed.", my coach said.
Kristine and I walked to our lockers and changed into out clothes. It was Friday and Kristine was coming to my house for a sleepover. We met up with Chase outside of the gym.
"Guess what?", I asked Chase.
"What? You made captain.", he smirked.
"Yes. How'd you know?"
He kissed me. "Because who else would be picked?"
I laughed. Kristine rolled her eyes but smiled.
"Who's up for a party tonight?", our friend Blake came up to us.
"Me!"
"Me!", I repeated Kristine.
"I'm in.", Chase said with his arm rapped around me.
"Alright come to my house at eight. Parents are out of town and my cousin got me some drinks.", he said as we walked to the buses together.
"Sweet.", Chase said.
"I need a drink.", I giggled.
"Yeah I know, you deal with Chase everyday.", Blake laughed and Chase playfully punched him.
"Bye.", Chase kissed my lips before we went out separate ways.
"Bye.", I smiled.
Kristine and I walked on my bus and sat down in a seat together.
"I can't wait to tell Paul!", I said excitingly.
We got to our stop. I ran to the door with Kristine. We walked in the house and hear music from the music room. We ran in and found Paul and The Jonas Brothers. They turned around.
"I made captain!", I screamed and Paul gave me a hug.
"That's great, sweetie."
Joe and Kevin gave me a hug. I jumped on Nick, he grabbed me and hugged me and spun me around while we laughed. Everyone greeted Kristine. I went over to one of the amps and touched something. It squed loud.

"Ow!", Joe, Nick, Paul, and Kevin held there ears.
Paul went over and fixed it.
Kristine laughed. "Jane, you ditz."
I shrugged. "Sorry."
Nick laughed.
"I think we should go into the kitchen where Jane can handle herself.", Paul lead us out of the room.
I smiled and went into the kitchen.
"So I think we shall go out to eat to celebrate.", Paul said.
"Well we have to be back by eight, we have a party.", I said.
"What kind of party?", Paul looked at me with wide eyes.
"A party.", I said.
"I know that but what kind?"
"There's kinds?"
"Jane you know what I mean, drinking?"
"Nope.", I said.
"You promise?"
"Yes, Paul. I will be safe.", I said.
"Good. That's all I ask, just be safe.", he said and walked away.
Paul walked out of the kitchen.
"We can't drink.", Kristine said.
"Why?"
"Well if we're drinking how do you except to get away with our parents seeing?"
"Good point.", I said.
"Joe, Kevin! Can you help me with something?", Paul yelled from another room.
They got up and left.
"So how are you Nick?", Kristine asked.
"I'm fine, how about you?"
"Good.", she smiled. "Uhm now that it's just us I have to tell you something Jane."
"What?"
"You have to promise you won't flip. It's a rumor, I'm not sure."
"Tell me!", I said as Nick went to the fridge to get a drink.
"There's a rumor Chase is cheating on you."
I started laughing. Nick looked up from the fridge. "Stupid people make rumors because there jealous. Who'd they say he's cheating with?"
"Some girl from the next town over."'
"Bs. You don't think it's true right?", I asked Nick who was now sitting with us again and Kristine.
"No.", Kristine said. "Probably not."
"Nick.", I looked at him.
He looked up from the table. "Oh uhm I don't know."
"You don't know?", I looked at him annoyed.
"Well I don't know the guy."
"Yeah you do."
"Jane, calm down he say's he doesn't know.", Kristine yelled at me.
"No, something's going on with you Nick. I don't know what it is. What is it?", I asked him. It was true he had bipolar moments with me.
"Maybe something's wrong with you? Ever thought of that Jane?", he snapped.
I couldn't believe what he just said.
"Excuse me. Jerk. And no I'm perfect.", I smirked.
"Sorry.", he looked down.
I felt bad. I came over and hugged him. He felt warm and smelt like cologne. He looked up and smiled at me. I got lost in his beauty for a minute....I mean. Kristine looked at us weirdly.
