Intentions Bested (featuring the Oregon coast)

Intentions Bested is part of my historical series, probably recorded in the mid 1990's. It's largely a late night stroll inspired by another world on the other side of the globe. I used to wander mystical midnight soundscapes a lot in those days.

An anecdote: I remember having the body of this song all in MIDI format. In untimely fashion, I later came up with an intro. Not wanting to deal with tacking it onto the beginning, I devised another means. I launched my MIDI sequencer and opened the file. Next I started the tape recorder (my Tascam Porta One). I played the intro live and then, while holding the final note, reached my foot over to the computer, pressed space with my toe to start the MIDI file, and simultaneously released the note.

Those were the days.
