This small Dragon Runner robot used to be nothing more than a pint-sized spy. Now it's been outfitted with tank-like tracks a gripper arm, to handle improvised bombs in rough terrain.
Mines do have magnetic/vibration sensors. Some are "cheap" and their sensitivity are not that reliable in 3rd world countries and can be set off by the slightest variation.
Still it is great if you need to drop a small explosive charge to blow a bomb/mine without risking someone's life.
I also hope this thing has a potentiometer to control the speed.
That's kewl. I think it would be better served to pick weeds or build them larger and more narrow in order to plow fields using precision GPA. As for bombs, they should be used to sterilize the already old and still dangerous mindfields setup in less competent, more ugly historical periods.
